1. Introduction & Acceptance

Welcome to Konbini at https://konbini.uk (the “Site”). The Site is operated by Gourmer Gloucester Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”), registered in England & Wales (Company No. 12914979). By accessing, browsing, or purchasing from this Site, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use this Site.


2. Definitions

Term Meaning


“Customer” / “you” Any natural or legal person using the Site or placing an order.


“Products” Goods offered for sale on the Site.


“Contract” The legally binding sales contract formed when we send you an Order Confirmation email.


3. User Eligibility & Account Responsibilities

3.1 Eligibility & Alcohol Age Restriction: You must be aged 18 or over and legally capable of entering binding contracts to use this Site. By placing an order for alcohol products (e.g. sake, soju, spirits), you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and that all information provided is accurate.


3.2 Age Verification upon Delivery: We use the Royal Mail Age Verification (AV) Service for alcohol deliveries. You must ensure that an adult aged 18 or over (not intoxicated) with valid photographic ID is available to receive the order. Failure to meet these requirements may result in the order being returned — see Clause 7.4.3.


3.3 Information Accuracy: All information you provide (e.g. name, address, payment details) must be complete and accurate. Please update us promptly if your details change.


3.4 Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.


4. Product Information & Availability

We strive to ensure that all product information is accurate; however:


- Product images are for illustration only — packaging may vary.

- Weights, volumes, and measurements are approximate.

- Prices and availability may change without notice.

If an item is unavailable after you place an order, we will notify you and offer a full refund or suitable substitute at your option.


5. Ordering Process & Payment

1. Add products to your basket and follow on-screen instructions at checkout.

2. Review your order carefully — by clicking “Pay Now”, you make a contractual offer to purchase.

3. The Order Confirmation email constitutes acceptance of your offer and forms the Contract.

4. All prices are in GBP (£) and include VAT, where applicable.

5. Payment is taken at the time of order. We accept major UK debit and credit cards and other payment methods shown at checkout.


6. Promotions

From time to time, we may offer discounts, promotions, or special offers (“Promotions”). Each Promotion will have its own terms, such as eligibility, minimum spend, expiry date, or exclusions. Promotions cannot be combined unless stated otherwise. Promotions hold no cash value and are non-transferable. We reserve the right to modify or withdraw any Promotion at our discretion. Misuse or suspected fraudulent activity may result in order cancellation or withdrawal of promotional benefits.


7. Shipping, Delivery & Risk of Loss

7.1 Dispatch & Delivery: Standard dispatch time is 1–2 working days. Estimated delivery times are shown at checkout.


7.2 Delivery Charges: Delivery fees are calculated based on order weight, value, and postcode.


7.3 Title & Risk: Ownership and risk pass to you upon successful delivery. Please inspect parcels immediately and report any damage to the courier and to us.


7.4 Alcohol Delivery Restrictions:

7.4.1 Delivery Obligation: Orders containing alcohol must be received in person by an adult aged 18 or over who is not intoxicated.

7.4.2 Age Verification Protocol: Our delivery partner (Royal Mail) enforces the Challenge 25 policy. Valid photo ID (passport, driving licence, or PASS card) must be shown on delivery. Delivery will be refused if: no valid ID is produced; the recipient appears underage; or the recipient appears intoxicated.

7.4.3 Failed Delivery & Charges: If delivery fails for any of the above reasons, the order will be treated as a customer cancellation. We will refund the product cost only, deducting the initial shipping fee, Royal Mail AV fee, and return shipping costs.


8. Cancellations, Returns & Refunds

8.1 Right to Cancel: Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you may cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods by contacting support@konbini.uk.


8.2 Return Eligibility: Goods must be unused, sealed, and resalable. Perishable, chilled, or frozen products cannot be returned unless faulty. You are responsible for return postage unless the product is defective. Alcohol delivery failures are handled as per Clause 7.4.3 and our Refund Policy.


8.3 Refunds: Authorised refunds are processed within 5–7 working days after inspection. Full details are set out in our Refund Policy.


9. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site — including text, images, graphics, logos, and code — is owned by Gourmer Gloucester Limited or its licensors and protected under UK and international intellectual property law. You may not reproduce or distribute any content without our written consent.


10. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimers

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all implied warranties and conditions. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the relevant order.


11. Privacy & Data Protection

We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which complies with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018. We collect only necessary data to fulfil orders, payment data is processed securely, and you may access or correct your data at any time.


12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms and any Contract are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts, though we will first attempt to resolve any matter amicably through customer service.


13. Changes to These Terms

We may amend these Terms periodically. Updates take effect upon publication on this Site. Continued use of the Site after changes indicates acceptance.
